No Internet
The internet in our room isn't working... I called the tech guy but we couldn't figure out what was up and so they brought us an ethernet cord but there wasn't a plug... so we've been using the hotel computers that have XP on them.... so I think I'll wait till I'm back home to update any more. We'll be heading home on Thursday. Jesse's parents went to get the key to our new apartment and to move stuff in this morning.... I wish I could have been there. :( That's the fun part. C'est la vie.

Honeymoon, Day 1
August 5, 2010
Today was the first day of our honeymoon! We flew from Pittsburgh, PA to Portland, ME. First we went to Portland Headlight and took some awesome pictures! Then it started to rain so we went to the gift shop and bought a refrigerator magnet and Sea Bells.
We then started our 3 hour journey to Bar harbor. While driving up i-295 we saw a sign for Freeport...home of L. L. Bean! Of course we had to stop. I brought along my old college backpack to be replaced. Before we went to L. L. Bean we stopped for lunch at a Chinese restaurant -- China Rose on Main Street. Jesse got his usual "General Tso's" chicken and I got orange chicken. We weren't feeling very adventurous...until we got to Bean! Now we want to go camping and hiking and try new things. I returned my backpack, hoping it would be replaced but unfortunately it was discontinued so they gave me a gift card for a third of the price. Oh well. We bought a large tote and had "Mowry" monogrammed on it -- but when we went to pick it up, it read, "Mowrey." Those silly people, it was spelled correctly on othe paper. They corrected their mistake free of charge within 10 minutes. What service. I also got a small carryon piece of luggage (with sMk monogrammed on it), and Jesse got an amazingly awesome shoulder bag suitable for his graduate student purposes.
We reached our destination, Harborside Hotel and Resort in Bar Harbor, ME. We checked-in, got settled and headed out for dinner. We were both in the mood for pizza and after walking around for a bit we found a pizza place, Rosalie's. We got an awesome 17" pizza with pineapple, green peppers and jalapenos. Mmmmmmm......except we both got sick to our stomachs afterwards. Dunno what it was but it was almost a race to the bathroom when we got back. :) I don't know if we'll be eating there again.
Plans for tomorrow: Sleep in! Go swimming. Hang out. Relax. Awh, glorious!
