I have bronchitis yet again. Third time this year! I think I have respiratory problems.
That's all.

Miles to Go Before I Sleep
I get up at 5:30 every morning so I can be at work before 7:30am. I have about an hour commute from State College to Hollidaysburg. It's been a hard drive - very boring, but a co-worker suggested books on CD. Duh, I don't know why I didn't think about it before! I have a thing for young adult fiction so I got A Great and Terrible Beauty by Libba Bray. (I just googled the book to find the author and they started making it into a movie but then the project was dropped....interesting.) And I also got Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass by Lewis Carol. They were all good. Yes, I've finished all three in a week. I spend a lot of time in my car. :)
I love my job, but I'm going to try and find another Montessori school closer home for next year.

Labor Day Weekend: Ole Bull, Claar Style
Labor day weekend was filled with family, fun and fire! Jesse and I went camping with my family at our favorite upstate campgound: Ole Bull. My family has been going there since before anyone can remember. We don't even know how or why Dad's family started going, but we do know that it's a magical place filled with memories....and bears.
Saturday night was the first time in my life that I've seen a bear in the campgound. It was less than 15 yards away from our campsite. It was a scary 1/2 an hour. I was standing under the awning with Max and Jesse when I heard someone yell but didn't know what they said... the next thing I knew, everyone around the fire (Mom, Bekah, Rachel, Meg with Maddie, Andrew) came RUNNING to the camper. I didn't know what was going on! I was terrified and ran into the camper. The menfolk stayed out and wanted to find out what was going on. A bear was sitting on the bank, a couple yards away from our site, watching us and our neighbors. Just sitting, waiting, watching. It was eerie. My favorite animal is a bear but I don't like real ones I've come to find out.
Jesse was the closest to it of course which made me nervous. He kept shining a flashlight on it, probably blinding it. Eventually someone brought out an airhorn and blasted the beast away. Here's a picture I stole from my sister Meghan's blog. :) She is the picture queen though I'm pretty sure Josh took this picture. (Click to enlarge then magnify and look at the flashlight beam.)
