Nursery for Baby Mo

I finally got the nursery put together! I want to make some paintings to hang on the walls though, I'll probably get around to it sometime. Here are the pictures :)

View into the nursery from the hallway...our bedroom door is to the right of the little table. (is the table too cheesy?? Jesse says it looks like a graduation party display haha)

Low bed on the floor -- very Montessori. The white thing at the end of the bed it a Topponcino (learn about it here: http://www.michaelolaf.com/1JC1stgentle.html ) everyone that holds the baby will also be holding the topponcino so don't put up a fuss. :)  Oh, and see the ridges on the bed? We put pool noodles under the sheet so the baby won't roll out, but if it does, it won't get hurt because it's like 3 inches from the floor. (The throw on the bed is from Nan, so pretty!)

Nursing corner for me and Baby Mo. I'm cheap (believe it or not) and didn't want to buy a stool for my feet so I put a pillow on top of a plastic crate and covered it with a sheet - securing it with a hair tie. Genius!

 Tummy time space. My parents bought us the play mat -- obviously they think it's a girl. :) So do I. If it's a boy, he'll use it too!

So there it is! Our cute little nursery for our cute little baby! We have a bassinet for our room for the first couple of months...

We're so excited for our little baby to come!  Did I ever tell you the names we have picked out? I can't remember.... If it's a girl: Ellison Laurel. Boy: Jackson Elm. We want our girls to have "flower" middle names and our boys to have "tree" middle names. Appropriate for us I think. :)

Shower Power

My good friend, Meagan B., threw a baby shower for me last weekend! The theme was "What Will it Bee?" since we don't know what we're having. :) Meagan made delicious food and cute cupcakes with little bee accessories. My Mom, grandma ("Nanny"), Aunt Robin and cousins Victoria and Christina, and my sisters Bekah and Rachel came. Along with some gal friends from our days in State College, Rachael and Shandee. I got some adorable outfits and lots of diapers and wipes...can never have too many of those!! It was a good time, but of course I didn't remember to take many pictures...but here are a few!Thanks, Meagan!

My mom and sisters are planning on having a baby shower for me in Altoona on September 8th. Please let me know if you'd like an invite!

Remember "When"sday

Remember when I had the cutest kitten, Emerson? He was a fun cat! You could hold him like a baby and he'd love it. He used to sleep at my feet and if I had to use the bathroom in the middle of the night, he'd come and wait outside the door and follow me back downstairs. When I had H1N1 he laid with me on the couch all day and all night. He was my favorite. I miss him so much!
