Hello Gorgeous!

(I wrote this a couple weeks ago but forgot to publish it!)

I am a now an Independent Mary Kay Beauty Consultant! Here's how it happened....


I went to my friend's MK party (the day before I found out I was pregnant) and while I was ordering, the Consultant, Marge Means, asked me if I had ever thought about becoming a consultant. I hadn't really thought about it but I knew that we would be moving next year and that there weren't any Montessori schools around and didn't want to sit around all day being bored, so I knew that I wanted something to do with my time. I said that I would think about it and she gave me a CD to listen to about "Choices." In the talk the woman gave on the CD made me think about how if I started with Mary Kay now, I would have a customer base to get me going so I would have a foundation to build on when I moved.

I prayed and talked with Jesse, talked with my mom, talked with friends.... and finally, I made the decision to go for it! It felt right so I kept going. :) I signed the Consultant Agreement and received my Starter Kit. Jesse gave me some money to start my inventory (can I just say that I have the most supportive, wonderful husband!?)

I have given 6 facials and have my first skin care class tomorrow night with my Mom, Nan and Aunt Robin. It's going to be a fun time! I have sold a bunch of products (lipsticks, eye shadows, nail polishes....) and my goal is to sell 6 basic sets in the month of November. Any takers to help me reach my goal??

To add to the excitement... my little sister Bekah is also a Beauty Consultant so I am a Senior Beauty Consultant haha! Awesomeness!!

I have a great Director, Marge Means. She is very helpful and supportive and always available to help me if need be. I feel really good about this. :)
