The "tackier" the better!

I was on a mission. I had to have the most awesome 'tacky sweater' to win the contest at the branch Christmas party. I knew there would be a lot of competition so I thought like a tacky sweater and went to the Salvation Army! And boy did I find a beauty!!  Embroidery and pearls...what a gem.

Everyone at the party voted (I voted for Jesse Mowry....I found out later that he also voted for himself...good thing!) and there happened to be a tie! They didn't anticipate that and there was only one bag of chocolates... so the executive decision was to make the winners (since they were male and female) go on a date and share the goodies. "The winners are... Sarah and Jesse!" I knew I would win with my awesomeness and it was an added bonus that I got a date ... with Jesse ... from it!

Jesse told me to hang on to the chocolates and he would collect on them later. They sat on my dresser for about 3 weeks, never opened until that fateful day on January 9, 2010....
